Ettercap

Ettercap: This monster stands ten feet tall, a grotesque creature with a hairy, bloated body, gangly long limbs armed with flesh-cleaving claws. Its hide is like cured leather, dark pink pot belly and dark purple skin. But it is its head which is the most disturbing; like that of a spider mixed with an apes, four mandibles click possessing leathal poison to drop its largest prey on both sides of its fang-riddled jaws, two larg black eyes resting atop a short snout crowned with six smaller eyes across its narrow forehead. Its favorite prey is humans, and knows only love for other spiders which it keeps as pets in its web-laced dwellings in thick forests.
